Me and my friend stopped here for ice cream. The portion size was huge! We ordered the kiddie size and there was AT LEAST two and a half scoops! Awesome!Too bad the ice cream way way too sweet. I got the black raspberry flavor listed in under "no sugar added" and I could barely finish it, while my friend ordered the strawberry cheesecake flavor and couldn't get through more than a few bites!

Good food and ice cream

It's not great everything was soggy and tasted of oil. We only stopped because it was convenient wont be back.

Ordered clam & scallop platter. Food was good but disappointed that clams had no bellies more like strips. For the price I expect whole belly clams.

Great place for good seafood or ice cream

I have been going to this place for years and it never disappoints! To be fair, I almost never order the ice cream, although it is delicious. I usually order the clam strip plate, which comes with delicious cole slaw and fries, and comes in huge portions. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and a spacious parking lot. You can order inside or outside and they will call your number up to the window. great for families and kids!

It was pretty bad. Not sure if I came at a weird time? I got smores ice cream that tasted awful. Didn't think that was possible. Food was eh. A lot of better places in the area.

OLD MANAGEMENT IS BACK! So happy! Things really went downhill when the other half of the family took over(?). Most everything is back to normal. Thank goodness! Welcome back!! So if you are like me and stopped going because of food changes, customer services issues, and WEIGHING OF THE ICE CREAM it's now okay to go back and enjoy your experience! 😀👍

Got three BLTs asked for them all on wraps 3 times none of them were on wraps.. we're very small and over priced. Guy on the grill asked me to get out of the way when I was placing another order told him they were on wraps too and they still put them on bread. People aren't friendly. Ice cream is super good though

Selection, cleanliness, customer service. But the 5 star key for me is the shear size of the breakfast sandwiches. They could easily contain 4 eggs and 1/4 lb of cheese, all on a soft, crusty, salty egg bagel. Do you know how hard it is to find a giant egg bagel?

Seafood is amazing. Portions are huge. There's definitely enough for two people to share.

It's a bit pricey, and the food has no flavor. I got a BLT plate, typically there would be mayo on it anywhere else but there was none. It came with fries and onion rings, again flavorless. Considering its an $11 meal I expected some flavor. Aside from that, its a good atmosphere

Faithful customer since 1997 but they lost my business after what seems to be a major change in management and quality. Their banana split, for instance, went up in price while the scoop portions were reduced by half. I was disgusted during my last visit in June 2018 with the rancid strawberries they put as “topping” they also dumped a bunch of pineapple hard and flavorless fiber with about 2 ounces of “pineapple juice”. It watered down the ice cream and simply ruined it. I complained to the server, who dismissed it arrogantly without apologies.I heard that they recently got a new owner, and it shows clearly.

I tried the new Smokey Joe's Mocha Chip ice cream flavor tonight. It was excellent! Chocolate, mocha, peanut butter, chocolate chips, yum. Good service and reasonable prices.

Ice cream is delicious. Sizes are huge! Kiddie looks like three scoops. Sizes only get bigger from there..

The best fried shrimp and onion rings.

They serve regular food as well as ice cream. They have an abundance of ice cream flavors, some you can't get anywhere else. The prices are reasonable, the food and ice cream are delicious, and the kids that work there are always friendly and helpful. We have another ice cream place closer to us but we go out of our way to go to Sterling Ice Cream. Give them a try; you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful place to have lunch, especially in the warmer months when you can eat outside. Great food and ice cream and a wonderful staff. Place is clean and well managed.

I don't know how they make the onion rings so good and never greasy. We always enjoy the food when we go. Best onion rings we've ever had.

Aside from the loud trucks and motorcycles flying by, Sterling Ice Cream was awesome.. Their serving sizes are otherworldly, and the flavors are great. The kids particularly love the rainbow sherbet. Overall, great place for a quick dessert stop for the kids.

Website says that they’re open even if you look right now says they’re open but they’re not open what is up with that drove all the way out there they were closed not happy

I saw the 2 star review from 6 months ago and based on that review, I got the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream and LOVED IT! Not from around here, but I can't wait to be back. If yoy want low sugar items, don't order ice cream here!

Best ice around leominster area

Best ice cream in Sterling! There are new flavors to try every year along with the standard favorites. I can't remember the name but we really like the salted caramel ice cream with the chocolate truffles, which are like tiny Rolos. By the way, the small is 2 huge scoops so order accordingly. I usually get a kiddie size and it's the perfect amount.

The food (fries and onions rings) was sooo oily and greasy that is all I tasted. Hot dog was sooo skinny and kinda watery tasting even though it seemed to be fried. Thinking of never getting food at an Ice Cream place again.

Usually this place is great but not today. Today they told us 3 of the flavors we wanted were out. They then served one of the flavors we asked for but were told they did not have. The service was very slow and unprofessional today
